Vasai Beach Cleaners featured in India Times with 200 Beach Clean-up Drives completed

✨Nothing is impossible for those who believe in themselves!✨

Zsuzsanna Ferrao and her team proved this saying right. As kids, we all have been to beaches, played in the sand, made sand castles, etc. So did Zsuzsannna’s toddlers. Zsuzsannna- A Hungarian woman loved rivers, but after coming to India, she fell in love with the beaches in Mumbai. Seeing her toddlers pick litter from the beach, she and her husband Lisbon (an Indian), decided to carry a bag and pick as much trash as possible.

After posting photos of the same, on social media, they got volunteers to help. Within a span of 5 years, they conducted many clean-up drives and worked with thousands of volunteers. Inspite of the Covid-19 restrictions, they managed to conduct clean-up drives with a minimum of 20-30 volunteers. They used to segregate the waste into recyclable and non-recyclable ones. Apart from clean-up drives, they also planted mangroves and tree saplings along the coastline.

Their efforts were seen by all especially India Times, who published an article on them, as they completed 200 beach clean-up drives.
