Come join hands with us and participate in the Cleanliness Drive at Bhuigaon Beach, Vasai (one of the most loved beaches) on 12.6.2016 at 4.00 p.m.!!! We intend fulfilling this duty toward nature every Sunday, not just to enjoy a clean beach for ourselves, but to ensure that Vasai can continue to be called the ‘Heritage land’ and to make people aware of their responsibility towards a clean environment.
Here is how it began….
Jonathan Lopez and some of his friends went to play at Bhuigaon Beach on a Sunday, two weeks ago, and realised the place was overloaded with plastic and trash.
“We couldn’t ignore it, so around 20-25 of us started collecting the trash and realised that within minutes we were able to make a small difference”, says Jonathan.
Their work has truly created an impact and their efforts are being appreciated widely with a huge article in Hindustan Times (Read the article)
They are now determined to continue and hope that more than 100 people turn up at Bhuigaon Beach, at 4:00 pm, this Sunday and join in the effort. “We are NOT an NGO, political or religious institution. We’re simply the youth of Vasai who believe in doing our part towards the community”, they say.

- Carry gloves (there are glass pieces).
- Carry drinking water for yourself
