Stray Animals World, run by Amanpreet Walia, had a grooming session for the paralysed and injured dogs at the shelter followed by snacks and best dress up competition on 17 November 2019.

Many animal lovers visited and gave a nice bath to each dog in the shelter. There are over 50 animals that are being treated for various ailments. Most are handicapped, paralysed, blind or old.

Participants made the dogs very happy and comfortable and gave them a lot of love.

Amanpreet Walia was extremely particular about the arrangements and made every visitor comfortable, offering wonderful snacks and cold drink.

The event ended with a competition where in the visitors created a very fancy and creative costume for the animals using colorful craft papers. Prizes were announced at the end.

Such events are an eye opener as we witness the sacrifice taken by animal activists to heal and care for injured strays.
