Aga Khan Agency for Habitat celebrated World Water Day at Aganwadi of Tulij and Girij along with local people on 22nd March 2021. On this occasion of World Water Day, the team of AKAHI began the celebration with help of a drawing competition. In this competition, local people and their children participated. The theme of this drawing competition was Valuing Water. In this competition, children showcased a beautiful piece of art, childrens’ efforts were appreciated by announcing the first, second and third winner. Prizes were given to these winners.

Later at the end of the celebration, the team explained how each and every member of this community should wash their hands and also explained the necessary Covid-19 precautions. A Handwash demo was also given to the community. Team also explained the hazardous effects of sanitiser.
