The Stretch between Umela & Amol Nagar on Naigaon Station Road under the jurisdiction of Manickpur Police Station has been witnessing incidents of bike thefts and chain snatching. In order to monitor and curb these and other crimes CCTV cameras have been installed with the help of philanthropic individuals.

The inaguration was done & attended by Commissioner Shri Pradip Giridhar, Deputy Commissioner Parimandal Shri Sanjay Patil, Senior PI Shri Bhausaheb Ahir Saheb.

A noteworthy feature of these cameras is the ability to capture the number plates of the vehicles. Some more areas will also be covered with cameras.

Cameras have earlier with the support of Naigaon Vyapari Association been installed near Bassein Catholic Bank, Mariyam Nagar, Sakai Nagar and more areas. We have also requested for a facility to register complaints at our Umele- Naigaon Police Station.
